Makena finally slept through the night again so I was able to get to the pool at 6:30am.  It was great to be in the pool but my arms felt so weak.  I can't believe that the 100's on 1:40 were actually a little challenging...I have a long way to go

Rode for 1 hr and then ran 20 min.  I was not motivated and really tired today.  Makena really needs to start sleeping through the night again.  I was up with her at 2:15am.  I am not functioning well on 7 hours of broken sleep.  Hopefully, she'll sleep well tonight so I can go swimming in the morning.

So great to finally get to run outside on a nice day...still had to jump a few snow banks but felt great.  Ran about 50 min.  Tried to open it up a little at the end and actually felt good.  It was nice to feel like I still have some speed.  I did the last mile around 7:30.  I think it's more mental at this point and I need to push myself more on my runs.  Yeah...it's coming back.

Starting to feel like crap again.  Have had a busy few days and not sleeping great at night.  Went to a nutrition seminar with Cory Holly.  He gave some great insights on things I'm probably missing in my diet.  He recommended drinking a few protein shakes each day with fruit, water, and flax seed oil.  Also taking some supplements.  I need to make some changes so I can have more energy to get through my workouts.  I can't take a week off every 2 weeks and expect to reach my goals this summer.  I'm frustrated and tired but at least have some ideas of how to make things better.

Felt good to be back.  It's been a long week...busy and started not feeling well again on Wednesday.  Started working with Debbie on some nutritional issues.  It think that's why I'm not able to keep up.  It seems like just when I feel good and get on a roll I feel like crap again.  Today was good.  3 lap run: 1st lap 15min (8:40 pace), 2nd lap 14:09 (8:10 pace), 3rd lap 13:25 (7:45 pace).  All in all I feel good just need to work on my consistency and definitely need to get to the pool.

Makena was up all night.  I was finally able to put her down at 5am!  I'm exhausted!  hopefully I can get some sleep and get caught up today.  No workout for me

I'm not ssure exactly how many miles I'm riding when I enter them here since I'm on my trainer.  Rode for 45 min tonight.  Felt good for that duration but then lost interest at the end, was shooting for 60 min.

Makena was sick today so I got to stay home from work.  She actually slept most of the day so I had a good run on the TM and was able to do some pilates.  Felt ok but my hips are really tight...definitely need to be more consistent with stretching.

One hour on the trainer.  I'm just getting bored of being inside.  Overall, I'm feeling good this week.  I hope it keeps up.  Going back to work tomorrow and Friday so I guess I'll shoot for Saturday unless I can get up early and get a swim in.

Finally able to get back on the TM.  Worked on Thurs and Fri and then was not feeling great again all weekend.  Ran out of time last night to get a workout in.  This upcoming week is going to be bad too.  I'm going to Denver on Wed for a Pilates course.  8 hours a day of pilates but there won't be much time for anything else.  Next week I'll be back on track.
